Fettuccine Alfredo

Creamy, rich, delectable. Hands down the best alfredo sauce I've ever made.

Servings: 5
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 pound fettuccine prepared according to box
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  1. Melt butter in saucepan. When melted, add sour cream and soften. 

  2. Stir in heavy cream. Add garlic powder, a touch of salt, and a few grinds of pepper. 

  3. Simmer gently for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and fold in parmesan. 

  4. Mix with hot fettuccine and serve.
